Early Morning Rollover Injures Two in Seward County

An early morning rollover injures two Southwest Kansans Saturday. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 1996 Camry was headed north on Road T in rural Seward County about six miles south and six miles east of Sublette at about 4 a.m. The vehicle left the road to the east, struck a ditch embankment, and rolled three times. The passenger, 22 year old Kayla Near of Garden City was ejected from the vehicle and disabled. She was not wearing her seatbelt. The driver, 28 year old John Rodriguez of Holcomb was also injured. Near and Rodriguez were both taken to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
