Canvassing Complete in Seward County, Martinez, Brack Hold on to Earn Seats

The canvassing of the 2019 General election has been completed. With two races being separated by just 2 votes, the 28 provisional ballots were very important. After the dust settled the results remained the Same with all candidates receiving more votes, but not enough to change the results.

In the City of Liberal Commission election the results are as follows:

Ron Warren 900
Christopher Linenbroker 619
Tony Martinez 582
Jimmy Dean Holman 576
Roberto Sanchez JR. 360
Cynthia Martin 325
Tony Ray Whisenant 294
Jack Carlile 229
The top two vote getters, Warren and Linenbroker will receive 4 year terms while the 3rd place vote getter, Martinez will get a 2 year term.

The top 4, Fitzgerald, Foreman, Vargas, and Brack will receive positions on the School Board.
