Baker Arts Center Juried Art Show Winners Announced

Artwork from across the nation is now on display at the Baker Arts Center in the 13th National Juried Art Exhibit. Juror, Laurence Bradshaw, Professor of Art and Art History at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, has selected 73 works of art created by 45 artists from 18 states to be exhibited. Mr. Bradshaw states “The artists selected for this exhibition are all winners because they were chosen to be exhibited. I hope the viewers will all gain insight and be touched in some way.”
This year’s prize winners are as follows:
1st Place 3-Dimensional- Clifford Blanchard, Morristown, NJ
2nd Place 3- Dimensional- Kevin Haran, Oviedo, FL
3rd Place 3- Dimensional- Paul Morris, Fort Collins, CO
1st Place 2- Dimensional- Walt Curlee, Phenix City, AL
2nd Place 2- Dimensional- Bill Baker, Corrales, NM
3rd Place 2- Dimensional- Jeani Gustafson, Ulysses, KS
1st Place Photography- Lisa Campbell, Liberal, KS
2nd Place Photography- Jim Shirey, Athens, OH
3rd Place Photography- Leslie Elliottsmith, Alexandria, LA
Merit Awards: Kevin Haran, Oviedo, FL
Hyun Joo Jung, Meriden, CT
Harry Longstreet, Bainbridge Island, WA
John Vinklarek, San Angelo, TX

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:00-12:00 & 1:00-5:00, 2:00 to 5:00 on Saturdays, closed Sunday and Monday. Artwor
