Baker Arts Center Announces Juried Art Show Winners

Artwork from across the nation is now on display at the Baker Arts Center in the 14th National Juried Art Exhibit. Juror, Carol Fullerton-Samsel, owner of Only Originals Gallery of Fine Art of Benton, Arkansas, has selected 60 works of art created by 37 artists from 20 states to be exhibited. Mrs. Samsel states �??I was honored to be invited as this year�??s juror of the Baker Arts Center Fourteenth Annual National Juried Art Exhibition. And very pleased at the quality and variety of work submitted to the show. Technical ability always makes a work stand out. But some pieces make one say Wow! I could look at that all day!.�?�

3rd Place 2- Dimensional- Dianna Callahan, Morrisville, MO
1st Place Photography- Alex Ho, Bothell, WA
2nd Place Photography- Harry Longstreet, Bainbridge Island, WA
3rd Place Photography- Coral DeWilliam Studer, Prosser, WA

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:00-12:00 & 1:00-5:00, 2:00 to 5:00 on Saturdays, closed Sunday and Monday. Artworks will be on display through May 26, 2012.
