Audrey Gilmore is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior Audrey Gilmore is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Gilmore qualified for state track and field in three events.  Gilmore placed fourth in regionals  in Wichita Friday in the 800 in 2:35.3.  She has run that event in 2:33.  She teamed with Grace Crossman, KT Polvon, and Katie Horyna to take third in the 4×400 relay in 4:24.1.  She teams with Halle Payton, Reece Hay, and Katie Horyna to take second in the 4×800 relay.  Gilmore made it to state last year.  Gilmore also runs cross country and plays basketball.  Gilmore plays the piano and participates in dance.  Gilmore and LHS compete at the 6A state meet at Cessna Stadium in Wichita on Friday and Saturday.
