The Guymon Tigers graduated 16 seniors from last year’s 5-5 football team.  This year, the Tigers turn to some returning experience in their senior and junior classes while welcoming a hungry group of freshman who were active playing travel ball.

Jake Martinez is on for his third season.  The Tigers are again an independent in football and can’t compete for a state championship.  They have had some success with this set up under Martinez going 5-4 two years ago and 5-5 last year.

Guymon has 38 out for football.  Some of the key players are Sr. QB Miguel Vargas, Jr. WR/CB Andy Ozaeta, SR. DE Abraham Mendoza, Sr. RB/LB Ramon Ochoa, Sr. RB/S Isaiah Dunnagan, and Sr. SL/CB Isaac Dunnagan.

Guymon was featured during Sportsguys Wednesday morning.  Guymon plays three of their first four at home.
