Western Kansas Community Foundation (WKCF) is currently accepting board applications

Western Kansas Community Foundation (WKCF) is currently accepting board applications to fill vacancies for the next term starting January 2026. With a service area of 15 counties in western Kansas, the Foundation is specifically welcoming applications from Finney, Grant, Gray, Greeley, Hamilton, Haskell, Kearny, Lane, Meade, Morton, Scott, Seward, Stanton, Stevens and Wichita County. Board applications are collected online at wkcf.org and are due September 1st, 2025.

“Western Kansas Community Foundation inspires and fulfills promises for a thriving Western Kansas,” says Marvin Graber, board chair of WKCF. “We aspire to be the region’s hub for philanthropy, connecting donors to causes they care about. WKCF board members are critical to the success of these efforts by overseeing the short- and long-term fiscal, programmatic, and governance goals of the organization. “

In its selection of board members, WKCF seeks representation from Western Kansas’s diverse constituencies. Board members believe in the power of collective giving to address the region’s greatest challenges. With more than 200 funds established by individuals, families, and businesses, WKCF promotes the belief that each contribution can make a difference in its own unique way. Through WKCF, people who care about Western Kansas can exert lasting influence on the places they call home.

Western Kansas Community Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Members serve a three-year term with the option of renewal.
