Weather Dampens Strong Start at Valley Center

Liberal High’s doubles teams both won three of four matches and the Liberal singles players were also competitive before severe weather wiped out the rest of the Valley Center Invitational Saturday. Liberal’s number one doubles team of Duc and Vince Nguyen went 3-1 while the number two doubles team of Hai Vo and Josh Hamilton also went 3-1. Larcyn Carter was 2-2 at number one singles and Antonio Rodriguez was 1-3 at number two singles. Liberal goes to Ulysses today.
