The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening and after approving the Consent Agenda, approved the Memorandum of Agreement between Liberal USD 480 and Baylor University USD 480 supports a student in the Speech Language Pathologist program attending Baylor. This will allow her to complete some of her clinical requirements for Licensure.
The Board approved the requisition to Pur-O-Zone in the amount of $19,009.28. This is for the following custodial supplies:
-Large trash bags
-Medium trash bags
-Multifold paper towels
-Toilet paper
-Rolled paper towels
-Hand soap
Also approved was the purchase of an Anatomage Table and accompanying software and hardware for $119,390. Liberal High School CTE program received an anonymous donation to go towards the purchase of an Anatomage Table with hardware and software for the price of $119,390. The Anatomage Table is a life-sized virtual dissection tool used in medical and science education that combines advanced 3D visualization software with a touchscreen interface. Students are able to explore full-body anatomy, manipulate organs, simulate surgeries and study real clinical cases.
At the meeting, the Board accepted a bid for the purchase of 75 vape detectors in the amount of $71,740.00
