USD 480 Board Meets, Approves KASB Membership

With Spring Break over and all USD 480 schools back in session the USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening with a relatively light agenda. In new business the Board approved the proposal from Johnson Controls Inc. in the amount of $13,242.00 for services to routinely analyze and evaluate the data that the District is currently collecting from the HVAC systems. The services will help to prevent future failures, ensure systems are operating as designed and scheduled as well as improve efficiency of our systems. Weekly system scans will be utilized and reviewed by software engineers and system experts. Once a quarter, JCI will meet with USD 480 staff to review system performance, measures taken to improve operations, identify potential issues and make system improvements.

The Board also approved the KASB membership renewal in the amount of $17,016.
