The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening at East Campus. In New Business, the Board adopted the policy for EBBG cardiac Emergency Response Planning as presented.

The Board then approved the quotes from Shawnee Mission Ford in the total amount of $156,821 to purchase 2 half ton pickups and 1 cargo van.

Also approved were the changes to the Supplemental Salary. These changes are s for 504 and SPED.

A Memorandum of Understanding with Newman University was approved. This will allow Newman University to obtain clinical facilities for students enrolled in various programs of the University’s Graduate School of Social Work.

The Board approved the quote fromLee’s Heating and Air in the amount of $14,553.00 to repair the walk in cooler at the LHS cafeteria, and approved the Microsoft Renewal in the amount of $57,460.00.

Approved by the Board was the renewal of student accident insurance for the 2025–2026 school year in the amount of $79,000 from Gallagher Special Risk.
