The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening for their regularly scheduled meeting. After approving the Consent Agenda, the Board re-approved Resolution A which was originally adopted on July 7 which had an incorrect date for the 2nd BOE meeting in the month of March, the 24th (Tuesday) 2026 which should be March 23 (Monday) 2026 .  The new Resolution A has the correct date.

The Board approved the hiring of two sign language / paraeducator dual positions, approved the creation of nine full-time permanent substitute teacher positions, one for each campus, and approved hiring the position of Head Girls’ Wrestling Coach.

Also approved was hiring for the position of District-Wide Bilingual/ESL Paraprofessional, and  the back pay for certified staff effected by the corrections to the salary schedule in the negotiated agreement for the three cells referenced in the district’s response to the grievance filed by LNEA.

Adopted at the meeting, by the Board was Resolution 7-21-25-1
