USD 480 Board Approves Handbook for 2025-2026

The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening at East Campus and approved the Facility Dog Policy Handbook as presented. The Board also approved the handbook changes for 25-26 as presented.

Approved at the meeting was the ARIS pilot for 1 year implementation in the Life Skills Classroom

With the ARIS Platform and supporting materials, teachers and paraprofessionals have a shared view of and ability to implement personalized student learning plans, IEP goals, and data tracking lesson progress, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. Real-time reporting provides insights into student performance, while integrated communication tools connect educators with the STAGES professional development and customer success teams. Teachers can easily access training, schedule visits, and stay informed about professional learning opportunities within the platform.

Approved was the subscription with Crisis Prevention Institute for use of their professional development program “Reframing Behavior” for 2025-2026. Reframing Behavior is a districtwide training for all educators to help build a positive and supportive classroom environment.
