USD 480 Board Approves Gym Floor Refinishing

The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening at East Campus, and in New Business approved the bid from Kansas Gym Floors in the amount of $18,766.00 to perform the annual gym floor refinishing at LHS, East Campus, EMS and SRMS.

The Board also approved the bid from Pro-Tech Spraying Services, in the amount of $24,227.36 for bare ground weed control services to be provided throughout the district, areas to be included are: fence lines, parking lot and side walk cracks, gravel lots, non grass playground areas, etc.

The USD 480 Board approved the bid from Sports Connection in the amount of $48,785.00 for the High Jump and Pole Vault Pit mat replacements as they exceeded their useful life and is in need of replacement for safety reasons.

An additional ESL teacher is needed for the second semester to help alleviate over crowding in ESL and Essential courses. The Board approved this position.
