Chance was born on January 10, 1986, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Terrie Lynn Simmons. He grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Westmoore High School. On October 26, 2012, he married Vanessa Pearson in Oklahoma City. In March 2013, the couple moved to the Oklahoma Panhandle, where they established their home and built a life together.
Chance was employed by Seaboard Pork Producers, where he worked as a production worker and animal handler. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed the opportunities and friendships it brought into his life.
An avid sports enthusiast, Chance especially loved watching his daughters play basketball and volleyball. He was one of their biggest fans and took great pride in cheering them on from the sidelines. Whether attending their games or traveling to sporting events, he enjoyed the excitement of competition and the memories made along the way.
In his spare time, Chance enjoyed listening to rock music and documentary podcasts, as well as spending time with his dog, Scarlett. He also found enjoyment in swimming and staying active by working out at the gym. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family and friends. He especially loved making Vanessa, Micah and BraeLeigh laugh, always making sure that everyone had a good time, and sharing the simple, everyday moments that made their life together special. His love for his family and the memories they created will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
