Ulysses Man Injured in Pratt County Accident

A two vehicle accident occurred Monday evening at approximately 5:20 pm on U.S. Highway 54 at mile marker 131 in Pratt County.

A 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 being driven by Dustin Brenner, 37 of Pratt was Northbound on NW 70th Avenue while a 2005 Kenworth semi being driven by Victor Maldonado, 29, of Ulysses was Westbound on U.S. Highway 54. Brenner failed to stop at the stop sign and was struck by the Kenworth.

Brenner was taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. Maldonado was also taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
