The Tyrone Bobcats could again be one of the top teams in the listening area.  The class C Bobcats were 9-3 last year and return six starters on defense and five starters on offense.  They have 17 out for football.  The Bobcats returned to their winning ways last year after they had gone 4-6 the past two years after going 56-14 from 2016-2021.

Tyrone will be strong under center as Class C District 1 Offensive MVP Miguel Baray returns for his junior year and will also play safety.  Other key Cats include Sr. RB/CB Elijah Anguiano, Sr. TE/DE Brenner Witt, Sr. lineman Mario Munoz, Sr. LB/TE/G Jondavid Parker, Sr. WR/RB/CB Brylon Hickey, Jr. lineman Kingston Andrew, and Jr. lineman Victor Bravo.

Tyrone opens with the first three games on the road and doesn’t play at home until Ocober 3.  But they will play four of their last six in Tyrone.

The Bobcats will be the first team featured On the Sidelines at Billy’s August 28 at 6pm on 102.7.  They open at Turpin August 29 at 7pm on 102.7.
