Two Vehicle Crash Injures Man on New Year’s

A local teenager began his new year in the hospital Tuesday. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 18 year old Bernardo Fuentes was taken to Satanta District Hospital with injuries after a crash in northern Seward County Tuesday morning. Fuentes was driving his car east on K190 while another car from Calgary, Alberta was headed south on Highway 83. Fuentes went through the stop sign and hit the car on 83. The crash occurred at about 10:55 Tuesday morning.
