Two Vehicle Accident in Haskell County

A two vehicle accident occurred Thursday morning at approximately 9:02 am on US Highway 83 at mile marker 53 in Haskell County. The accident happened as 2000 Freightliner semi being driven by Steven Ray Rosales, 33 of Garden City and a 2017 Ford F350 being driven by Misael Ramirez Silva, 30, of Garden City were southbound on US-83. The semi rear ended the Ford F350 in the right hand southbound lane of US-83. The Semi came to rest in the east ditch, and the Ford came to rest in the west ditch on its side.

Neither of the drivers were injured, however a passenger in the Ford, Jose Edmundo Carreon Hernandez, 36, of Garden City was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital to be treated for minor injuries
