Twins Take One of Hargrove’s Bee Jays in Seventh Round

The Minnesota Twins selected former BJ Matt Hauser in the 7th round of the MLB draft Tuesday. The Newport Beach, California right hander was 5-2 with a 2.45 E.R.A. for the 34-20 Bee Jays. Hauser struck out 85 and walked 16 for Mike Hargrove’s 2009 BJ’s. Hauser was 4-3 with a 3.67 E.R.A. and eight saves for San Diego this spring.
