Tiahrt, Moran Building War Chests

The two men running for a U.S. Senate seat in Kansas are reporting successfull fundraising efforts.

Jerry Moran’s campaign raised over $346,000 this quarter, and retains nearly $3.5 million cash-on-hand. The campaign said 85% of this quarte s donations to Moran came from individual donors.

Rep. Todd Tiahrt doubled his fundraising efforts from the previous quarter, raising more than $375,000 and ending the quarter with $1.5 million cash on hand.

The Tiahrt campaign said more than 75% of Tiahrt’s donations came from Kansans and shows Tiahrt’s growing momentum and support from across the state. “As Todd’s message of conservative Kansas values spreads, voters are recognizing that Todd is the only true conservative in this race,” said Michelle Schroeder spokesperson for the Tiahrt campaign.

Tiahrt & Moran are running for the seat currently held by Sen. Sam Brownback.
