Texas County Voters Choose Santorun andTerry

Texas County Republicans went with most of the state and chose Rick Santorum with 691 votes in the Presidential Preferential Primary, Tuesday. Mitt Romney garnered 347 votes in Texas County, followed by Newt Gingrich with 320 and Ron Paul with 155.

Texas County Democrats went against the rest of the state, choosing Randall Terry with 118 votes, followed by Barack Obama with 89 and Jim Rogers with 74 votes.

Statewide, Democrats chose Obama with more than 55% of the vote.
