Teachers Come Together to Eat and Begin the School Year

KSCB News - August 13, 2009 12:00 am

Teachers, administrators, and all employees in the Liberal school district met Thursday morning at Liberal High School for a breakfast. They then met in the James Maskus Auditorium for a welcome back to school greeting.

The teachers then went to their respective school for an all staff meeting and tomorrow will be hearing presentations on the new Literacy First Program that will be used district wide this year.

Thursday was the first day back for teachers, who will have just under a week to get their classrooms ready and their schedules set before the students come back to begin the new school year in the middle of next week.
