The Liberal Police Department has received information that there is a rumor around town of a death related to tainted Halloween candy. There is no truth to this rumor.
If the Liberal Police Department were to receive credible information of any threat to our community, this information would be immediately released to the public.
Again, there is no truth to the rumor of a death in Liberal, Kansas, from Halloween candy.
