Seward Moves Into Three Way Tie for Third

KSCB News - October 26, 2010 12:00 am

There is a three way tie for third in the Jayhawk West volleyball race. This is important for Seward, Barton, and Colby because only the top four teams host a first round Region 6 Tournament game next Tuesday. Fifth place and below goes on the road. That made Monday night’s match in the Green House against Barton a crucial one for Seward who won 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21) over Barton (21-7, 8-5). Seward is 17-17 overall and 8-5 in the Jayhawk West with Sophomore Recognition Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. against Hutchinson.
