Recently the Seward County Sheriff’s Department participated in the Click It Or Ticket campaign over Memorial Day Weekend. According to Seward County Under Sheriff Ryan Roehr, Officers of the Sheriff’s Department made a total of 347 contacts. The department issued 67 speeding tickets, 5 DUI citations/arrests, 4 seatbelt citations for children ages 0-13, 3 seatbelt citations for youth ages 13-17, and 59 seatbelt citations for those 18 and older. There were 143 other citations issued over the counting period.
