Here is a press release from Seward County regarding the Arkalon Ethanol settlement inquiry:

“Prior to the hearing at BOTA (Board of Tax Appeals), Seward County made informal settlement offers for valuations that were more favorable to arkalon Ethanol than what BOTA ended up ruling.  Arkalon Ethanol rejected those settlement offers and they made no counter offer to Seward County’s last offer.  If Arkalon Ethanol desires to revisit settlement, their attorney should contact Seward County’s attorney.”
