Seward County Commissioners Approves Vehicle Purchase

The Seward County Commission met on Monday evening at 5:30 pm and approved the Cimarron Basin Fiscal Year 2023 Budget Adjustments. The Commission then heard several updates from Neal Coffey on Safety Program, the Emergency Communications Center Power Project, the Comprehensive Plan, and the Maintenance Program.

Commissioners approved the purchase of a Plotter/Scanner for the GIS Department in the amount of $16,269.00 to be paid from the Technology Surplus Fund, and approved the purchase of a 2023 Dodge Durango in the amount of $44,074.00 for the Sheriff’s Department.

The County Commission also appointed Terry Decker and Barbara Fitzgerald to the SWKAAA board for 3 year terms.
