Seward County Commission Approves Fees for Not For Profit Use of County Facilities

The Seward County Board of County Commissioners met Monday Evening and after discussion, the Commission approved charging fees for the use of the Ag Building, and the Activity Center for Not For Profit Organizations. The Commission adopted the usage fees of $300 for the use of the Ag Building and $600 for the use of the Activity Center for these organizations. With the fees now set, the Not for Profit Organizations will no longer be required to go before the Commission, but instead will fill out the application, which will then go to County Administrator April Warden, Brock Theiner, and Hillary Franco.

The Commission approved the Cimarron Basin Community Corrections FY2025 Year-End Outcome Report for a submission to KDOC, and approved the striping project for county roads to also include the County’s portion of Tucker Road with Cillessen & Sons.

Commissioners approved the bid from Maestro Concrete in the amount of $10,000.00 to be paid from ARPA funds for outside maintenance to EMS Building and approved the Tuition Assistance Agreement with Brie Greeson, Health Department Director, with her committing to remain in her role with the Health Department, following degree completion.
