The Seward County Commission met on Monday evening, and after holding a Revenue Neutral Rate Hearing the Board of County Commissioners adopted the 2026 budget as presented, which exceeds the Revenue Neutral Rate.

The Board also adopted the 2024 International Code editions and the 2023 National Electric Codes, and granted Stepping Stone Shelter $15,068.27 to utilize the opioid settlement funds as outlined in the MFAF guidelines.

The Board adopted Resolution No. 2025-16 appointing Andrew Barkley as the Emergency Management Director.
