Several Groups Lose Tax Exempt Status

Nearly 4,000 organizations from across
Kansas lost their tax-exempt status after failing to file the
proper paperwork with the Internal Revenue Service. Groups that
lost their tax-exempt status this year include 71 Lions chapters
and 32 PTA groups.
