SCCC to host panel discussion on successes of Hispanic professionals

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College presents “Widen Your Lens: Find Your Career Path,” a panel discussion on the success stories of Hispanic professionals, Wednesday, October 1, at 2 p.m. in the Clifford and Irene Pepper Showcase Theater on the SCCC campus. The event is sponsored by the SCCC Hispanic American Leadership Organization in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

The panel discussion will share the paths and successes of Irma Faudoa, executive director of the Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission, Pablo Estrada Cruz, executive director, Kansas Hispanic Education & Development Foundation and Judge Rachel Pickering, Kansas Court of Appeals.

After the discussion, the panelists will hold a speed mentoring session to share insights and information about career paths.

Both events are free and open to the community.
