SCCC Tennis Hires Asst. Coach

The Seward County athletic department has announced the hiring of Dylan Strickland as the Assistant Tennis Coach for the Seward County men’s and women’s tennis programs.  He will join head coach Chase Ashley on the coaching staff.

Strickland comes to Seward after spending the previous three years as a tennis instructor at Canyon High School in Canyon, Texas.  He taught private lessons for athletes ranging from age six to eighteen, while managing groups and camps of over 50 athletes. He also spent a year as a tennis coach at the Alex O’Brien Tennis Foundation in Amarillo, Texas.

Seward has competed in two fall invitations this year and will travel for the ITA Central Regional Tournament on September 28th for a chance to play for an ITA National Championship.
