Saints Grab Another Road Win at Western Nebraska

Seward head coach Rylee Hernandez was familiar with Western Nebraska and their home gym, the Cougar Palace, from his time at Williston State.  Thursday his Seward County Saints ventured north to Scottsbluff and improved to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 on the road with a 92-79 win over the Western Nebraska Cougars.  Seward led 50-32 at halftime on the way to the win.  Mario Whitley went off for 29 points and 10 rebounds.  Jaylin Henderson scored 23 points and dished five assists.  Wilson Dubinsky dropped in 11.  The Saints shot 49 percent from the field and went 18-20 from the foul line.  Western Nebraska shot 42 percent.  The Saints are 3-0 and open Jayhawk Conference play at Pratt Wednesday night at 7:30 on B107.5 and The KSCB and The Legend App.
