Rep. Petty To Host Meet and Greet Memorial Weekend

State Representative Reid Petty will be at Spencer Brownes Coffee House in Liberal Saturday from 9-10 a.m. to discuss and get input from citizens on a final tax plan and budget that the legislature is working on. The House rejected the Senate’s tax plan today 109-5, so the House will adjourn until after the Memorial Day holiday and come back on Tuesday to reopen talks on the tax plan. The budget won’t be voted on until a tax plan is passed.
