Rep. Huelskamp Accepts Position In Romney Campaign

Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) announced he has joined the Romney campaign as Co-Chair of Farmers and Ranchers for Romney.
“I am honored to be named a Co-Chair of Farmers and Ranchers for Romney. My family has been farming in western Kansas for three generations – and we know the effects of agricultural policy coming out of Washington. Mitt Romney will provide real leadership on ag issues that has been lacking for nearly four years.”
“Since Barack Obama became President, his administration has issued regulation after regulation putting America’s farmers and ranchers at risk. Whether it’s EPA’s attempt to regulate everything from cow gas, to farm dust, to private farm ponds – or the Labor Department’s attempt to stop children from working on family farms – or the Administration’s expensive over-regulation of energy production — Obama has put agriculture and all of rural America at great risk.”
“Agriculture has been a bright spot in an otherwise bad Obama economy. I am confident Governor Romney can take power away from the Washington bureaucrats and politicians and put it back into the hands of America’s farmers and ranchers.”
