The Liberal Redskins have swept the Hays Indians in 2025.  The Redskins scored two first half goals and held on to top Hays 2-1 Tuesday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Johnny Young scored less than three minutes into the game.  Ariel Gaytan scored at the 19:13 mark of the first half.  Yadier Casas Medina provided an assist.  Hays scored in the closing minutes on a corner kick.  The Redskins led shots on goal 17-6.  Diego Flores had four saves.  The Indians had six corners and LHS had five.  Hays is 6-7 overall and 2-5 in the WAC.  Liberal is 10-2 overall and 4-2 in the WAC.  Liberal plays Kapaun at the Sunflower Showdown in Dodge City on Friday and faces Olathe North on Saturday.
