Pedestrian Killed By Semi In SW Kansas

A Dodge City man was killed when he stepped onto a highway and was hit by a semi. The accident happened at 10:42 p.m. Monday on U.S. 50 in Ford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Daniel Cantonwine, 56, walked from the west shoulder into the southbound lane of the highway and was struck by the truck.
The truck driver was not hurt.
