Patriot Day at Cottonwood Elementary this Friday

Joe Denoyer - September 6, 2022 4:38 pm

Cottonwood Elementary will host its annual “Patriot Day” ceremony on Friday, September 9th at 9:30 am in the north parking lot of the school.

The event is organized by music teacher Miss Aspen Jaramillo and is a chance for the school and community to show appreciation to our local first responders, and active/veteran military.

Cottonwood students will present a number of patriotic song selections as well as recognize those protecting and serving our community and nation; including all branches of the military, police officers, fire department, and emergency personnel, with a special remembrance to those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.

Community attendance at this event is encouraged and appreciated.
