Pancake Eating and Flipping Contests on Saturday

The International Pancake Day Committee will hold the Annual Eating and Flipping Contests on Saturday, February 10th at the Liberal Recreation Center, 950 S. Grant Street in Liberal. Registration for both events will begin at 8:30 am with the competition to get underway at 9:00 am. There is no cost to participate.

Divisions in the Flipping competition are:

Division 1 – 7 and Under, Most flips in 1 minute
Division 2 – 8-12, Most flips in 2 minutes
Division 3 – 13-17 Most flips in 3 minutes
Division 4 – 18-Up Most flips in 3 minutes

Pancake Eating competition Divisions are:

Division 1 – 7 and Under, Contestant who can eat a 5 inch pancake the fastest
Division 2 – 8-12 Contestant who can eat a 5 inch pancake the fastest
Division 3 – 13-17 Contestant who can eat five 5 inch pancakes the fastest
Division 4 18-Up Contestant who can eat five 5 inch pancakes the fastest
