OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The U.S. Drought Monitor is to release its
latest report on drought conditions in Oklahoma and across the
United States.
The Drought Monitor releases the reports each Thursday. Last
week’s report showed drought conditions in Oklahoma were
intensifying and there has been little rain in the state since
then.
There is though a chance for showers in parts of the state
beginning Thursday.
Last week’ report showed the Oklahoma Panhandle, northwestern
Oklahoma and far southeastern Oklahoma in extreme drought. Severe
drought is reported from southwestern across northern and into
east-central sections.
