Haven Skye Curtis-Degollado was called home to Heaven on May 19, 2025, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Haven was born on December 12, 2024, in Kansas City, the beloved daughter of Eyan Curtis and Faith Degollado.

Though her time here was brief, Haven touched countless lives with her strength, her spirit, and the deep love she inspired in those who knew her.

She will forever be cherished by her parents and her proud big sister, Evalie Curtis of Wichita, Kansas. Grandmother Rebecca Garcia of Lakin, KS and grandfather Miguel Degollado of Ulysses, KS. Also cherishing her memory are her great-grandmother Norma Pauda of Lakin, KS, and great-grandfather Felix Degollado of Ulysses, KS; her aunt Naomi Degollado of Amarillo, TX; her uncles Valentino Degollado (and wife Jacquelynn) of Hugoton, KS, and Miguel Degollado, Jr. of Wichita, KS; and her cousin Carlo Degollado.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her great-grandfather Robert Pauda and great-grandmother Vicenta Degollado Luna.

A celebration of Haven’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Lakin Assembly of God Church in Lakin, Kansas, with Pastor Rafael Franco officiating. Haven will be laid to rest at Lakin Cemetery.
