Liberal junior thrower NaZiah Williams is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  NaZiah won the discus competition in the 6A Dodge City regional Friday with a throw of 120-10.  She is also the WAC champion with a throw of 127-1 which is her PR.  Williams won the Ulysses and Goddard meets as well.  She made state as a freshman as well.  She is also a member of the Black Student Union at Liberal High School.  She will throw Saturday morning at 11:30 at the state track and field meet at Wichita State.
