Nathalie Don Juan and Kylee Hammel Make State

Liberal’s number one doubles team qualified for state at their 6A regional at Blue Bonnet Park in Liberal on Saturday.  Nathalie Don Juan and Kylee Hammel made state with a 5th place finish.  LHS finished fourth as a team.  Here are the team results.

Don Juan and Hammel gained a bye in the first round.  They lost to Dodge City’s number one team 6-0, 6-2.  They bounced back beating Wichita North 6-2, 6-1 and knocked of Dodge City’s #2 team 6-4, 6-7, 6-3.  6A state is in Junction City Friday and Saturday.
