Montezuma To Celebrate 100 Years

A small town in southwest Kansas has planned an upcoming celebration for its 100th anniversary.

The Dodge City Globe reports that Montezuma residents have organized a weekend celebration for June 29th through July 1st. The festivities include a barbecue contest, parade and a craft show.

Montezuma, a town of about 900 residents, is located about 50 miles southeast of Garden City.
