On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Jay and Kirsten (Webster) Edwards will be sharing about DANIEL at Faith Tabernacle Church.  Jay has written two books about DANIEL.

Jay and Kirsten are agricultural missionaries in Brazil, where it has not always been easy to apply Christian principles to business practices.  Jay’s interest in Daniel originally stemmed from the realization that Daniel was the Prime Minister of Babylon and yet, somehow, he simultaneously pleased his God and King Nebuchadnezzar.  Later in his life when he was nearly 80 years old, after the lions’ den incident, he served for a short time as prime minister of the Persian Empire under Cyrus the Great.  Daniel may have been the only man to ever have served as Prime Minister in two World Empires.

Kirsten’s family is from Liberal.  Kirsten graduated from Liberal High School in 1976 where her sisters, Beth and Celia, also attended.

Jay and Kisten will be speaking on Sunday, September 7th at Faith Tabernacle, 514 N Kansas in Liberal.  They will be speaking at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday School and then again at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunday Morning Service.
