Minors Detained Or Arrested At Party

25 minors were detained or arrested after being caught at a party with alcohol, according to Guymon Police.

Officials at the Guymon Police Department tell The Guymon Daily Herald that they received a disturbance call in the 700 block of Nopal shortly after 2:30 early Friday morning. People were allegedly drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.

Upon arrival, officers found 25 minors at the house. Nine juveniles of Guymon were detained for MIP (Minor in Possession) of Beer, one juvenile of Liberal, Kans. for MIP-Beer and one juvenile of Guymon for MIP-Beer and Possession of Marijuana.

“If someone decides to throw a summer party and there is illegal, underage drinking, we take it very serious,” said Guymon Chief of Police Eddie Adamson.
