LPD, KHP to Collaborate on Cadet Program

Joe Denoyer - April 22, 2024 2:00 pm

The Liberal Police Department in collaboration with Kansas Highway Patrol will be hosting the LPD Cadet Program beginning on July 9th, 2024. This program will meet bi-weekly for the duration of five weeks.

The Cadet Program is geared towards members of our community that are between the ages of 14 and 20 who are interested in learning more about law enforcement. This program is beneficial to our community because it helps bridge the gap between local youth and local law enforcement agencies. This helps us better understand youth within our community and for them to obtain a better understanding of the function of a department.

Anyone interested in the program can apply by following the QR code/link or by picking up an application from the Liberal Police Department. Applications must be turned in by June 1st, 2024.

If you have questions or would like more information about the Liberal Police Department Cadet Program, please contact Dalanie Underwood at (620) 626-0517 or at [email protected].
