HOOKER, OK – Area Christians and their clergy will participate in the
Hooker Life Chain, a peaceful, silent, and prayerful demonstration along Highway 54 on
Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The event will bring together community members to form a visual statement of unity and
opposition to abortion. Participants will line the sidewalks of Highway 54, silently holding
uniform, pro-life signs and engaging in prayer.

This event will provide a visual statement of unity by area Christians that abortion is wrong and
the Church is opposed to the killing of unborn children. We invite everyone to invest one hour in
prayer to save lives.

Life Chain signs will be distributed to participants from the northwest corner of Swem and
Highway 54 prior to the start of the demonstration. The event is scheduled to go on regardless
of weather conditions.
