Due to persistent lightning Monday night, Liberal’s home playoff soccer game against Wichita Northwest has been moved to Wednesday.  The game began on schedule at 6pm Monday night but didn’t even get four minutes of play before the first lightning delay.  The lightning continued all evening and Wichita Northwest had to drive all the way back to Wichita only to return for a 4:30 game on Wednesday.  The game was finally postponed at 8:30 as more lightning, rain, and strong winds moved in.
